This is part of Dubai's General Plan for Development until 2040. The main goal is to create a high-tech city of the future that will serve as a platform for eco-oriented enterprises and startups. Residents and visitors of Expo City Dubai stick to principles of environmental ethics and have completely eliminated the use of single-use plastic products. Additionally, it is the first district in the Middle East to be certified according to WELL standards.
In addition to restaurants and cafes, Expo City Dubai will feature numerous attractions, sports clubs, and a shopping center.
The infrastructure of Expo City includes:
• Al Wasl Plaza, a central gathering space.
•Garden in the Sky, an elevated viewing platform.
• Surreal, a water complex.
• The Mobility and Terra Pavilions, which function as interactive educational centers, and the Opportunities Pavilion, which has transformed into the Dubai Expo 2020 Museum, dedicated to the history of World Expos.
• A 5-minute walk to the Dubai Expo 2020 metro station.
• The opening of the massive Dubai Expo Mall in three months, with 85% of the district's infrastructure already complete.
Expo City is located in Dubai South, near Al Maktoum International Airport.
